Columbus Scott, former drummer of Manowar Elementary

The battery was of the band's true metal Manowar , Columbus Scott has died . As happened with Dio last year and Gary Moore not even two months ago, we unexpectedly goes a great musician. Not yet know the causes of death, and the official announcement of page Manowar solo dice lo siguiente:

  It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother Scott Columbus.

Scott Columbus was a rare talent and equally a rare individual.

He was a father, a friend and a brother of metal.

All of the great moments we spent together in the studio, in our homes and on the road are burnished in our hearts and memories forever.

These words are spoken with heavy hearts but we have the comfort of knowing That He is in a good place and at peace.

Scott was known to have been a member of the band heavy metal, Manowar , band that came in 1983 to 1991, the year he left the group for her daughter's illness and after recovery from this, again in the year 1995 , playing the group until 2008 when the band was absent temporarily until, in an interview with Classic Rock magazine 1 June 2010, announced his departure final. On April 4, 2011 died unexpectedly at the age of 54 years .
