Welcome Messagefor Newborn

AppStream, a shop unified SC Linux KDE 4.6 Released

As I read on OSNews which is preparing a shop of applications, much like the Ubuntu Software , but in this case official in various distributions, as a universal store. developers are collaborating Ubuntu , openSUSE, Mandriva , mageia , Fedora and Red Hat to carry this out.

is that all share a common application for installing software, using packagekit background to handle according to the type of packet, keeping this part out of sight.

I think it's great to try to unify or at least make more transparent to the user to install applications on any Linux distribution, and the developers behind this there reasons to be optimistic .

You also have a
video of one of the meetings where it explains the operation and how it is working on it.

Seen
